Among the Nebbiolo vineyards on San Licerio hill, in Guarene, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo has been promoting a new contemporary art programme since 2019, with the installation of large sculptures commissioned from the most promising young artists on the international scene.

The first commission was assigned to Canadian artist Paul Kneale, who presented Flat Earth Visa, a work that launches a singular and intense interaction between nature and culture. The installation consists of distinct sculptures: a satellite dish, with the body of the reflector moulded in neon tubes, and a series of steel fences.
