Since 2017, the town has been participating in the national competition "Comuni Fioriti" (Towns in Bloom) to make it more welcoming to tourists and the people of Sale. Flower boxes and green areas have been installed, in keeping with the motto "Fiorire è accogliere" (Blooming is welcoming).
